Rachel Reeves: "Show me the Bodies"

The Chancellor appears to be sliding into a dangerous regulatory trap exemplified by pre-Grenfell ministers and officials wrongly assuming than the absence of catastrophe meant that the risk could be ignored. One official (reportedly) demanded that those concerned about over-lax fire regulation should "show me the bodies".
